Bratcher, Kathy (2008-2011)
Kathy has been a teacher in the Batavia School District since 1972. During her tenure she taught in all of the elementary schools, the middle school, coached track at the Batavia High School, and served as assistant to the Principal at Storm Elementary School. In 2002 Mrs. Bratcher was honored with the recognition of Kane County Elementary Educator of the Year. Mrs. Bratcher retired in 2005, after thirty-three years of teaching in Batavia
Farley, Lisa (2009-2012)
Lisa moved to the area in 2005 and has two children in the Batavia School District. She was a member
of the Hoover Wood PTO serving on the Communication and PR committee. She owns a personal training and Pilates company, rehabs homes with her husband, and has experience in sales and marketing.
Heidenreich, Jennifer (2008-2011)
Jen moved to Batavia in 2002 and has one child in the Batavia school district. She has been a part of the Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation since 2002, most of those years as a Committee Chair. Very involved with her child's schools PTO, Jen remains a stay-at-home mom by running her freelance graphic & web design business from home.
Katz, Mike (2008-2011)
Michael joined the board after years of participation in the H.C. Storm PTO. He brings business and financial management experience to the board and enjoys the opportunity to help Batavia schools reach their fullest potential. Michael has one child in elementary school, and one just around the corner. Michael and his wife have lived in Batavia for just over 10 years.
Kramer, Lisa (2006-2009)
Lisa learned about the Foundation shourtly after moving to Batavia five years ago. She thought the opportunity to serve the community and its schools by providing innovative educational experiences would be a rewarding challenge. Lisa has served on the PR and grant committees and is the Chairperson for the 2008-2009 school year.
Massie, Kerry (2009-2012)
Kerry has been active in the Batavia community since moving here in 2005 from the Washington, D.C. area. She has a Master's degree in Special Education and has experience in both grant writing and review through her work with several different non-profits. Kerry and her husband have three children who attend Batavia High School. Kerry also volunteers with the Illinois Food Bank each week working on a limited pilot program.
Nyland, Colleen (2008-2011)
Colleen is currently a part time faculty member for Northern Illinois University and a BPS parent of two children. She brings non-profit management, education, marketing and public relations experience to the board and is passionate about providing the best educational opportunities for our kids.
Molenhouse, Heidi (2008-2011)
As a parent of school-aged children in District 101, a business owner in Batavia and a property owner,
Heidi joined the Batavia Foundation to help ensure that our schools remain among the best in the area. Heidi is committed to the Foundation’s goal of bringing innovative tools, resources and ideas to the classroom in order to enhance the education of all of the students in District 101.
O’Brien, Dan (2007-2010)
Dan is currently employed with Trust Company of Illinois located in Downers Grove which, specializes in investment advisory, employee benefits and estate administrative services. He and his family have resided in Batavia for the past fourteen years.

Sebold, Carrie (2009-2012)
Carrie joined the foundation after being a board member at Grace McWayne PTO because she wanted
to participate in enhancing education for all students in the Batavia school district. As the mother of four young children, two of which are enrolled at Grace McWayne, Carrie values the importance of education and enrichment activities for children. Carrie is also a real estate agent for Baird & Warner. Carrie and
her family have lived in Batavia since 2007.
Spitz, Joanne (2007-2010)
Joanne has lived in Batavia for over 17 years and has three children in the Batavia school district. She has a BS in Advertising and an MBA from the University of Illinois. Joanne is a community volunteer in many aspects: serving a total of 4 years as Treasurer and President on her children's school's PTO, lending her time and talents to TriCity Family Services and other local organizations. Joanne is a member of the Batavia Foundation to help make a difference in improving the education of all of our Batavia school children.
Winkle, Matt (2006-2009)
Matt was raised in Batavia and graduated from BHS in 1985. His family includes his wife, Chris, and three boys, all of whom are all currently district 101 students. Matt is a business owner, school board member, licensed foster parent, active on other community boards, and proud Batavian.
Zeddies, Mim (2006-2009)
Mim has been active in the Batavia community since moving here in 1990. Currently her 3 children are in the Batavia School District. Mim has held various leadership roles in the school PTO's, and Parent Advisory Committee's.

Lifelong Batavia resident. Nancy attended Louise White School and Batavia High School as did her
father and two sons. She has been serving as secretary to the Foundation for almost 10 years.
