Grant Requirements & Application....

The Batavia Foundation gives back to Batavia District 101 schools through a semi-annual grant program. In keeping with the philosophy and goals of the Batavia Foundation, the board will select those programs, activities, and purchases that will enhance and support educational opportunities for students in the Batavia Public Schools.

The board awards Spring & Fall Grants each school year.  All grade levels and curricular areas will be considered.  Requests can be initiated by faculty, students, administrative personnel, parents, citizens, and other civic, governmental, or community organizations.  Requests must use this application.

The requests are reviewed by a subcommittee of the Batavia Foundation.  Criteria consist of the number of students to benefit, the innovativeness of the proposal, concurrence with Batavia School District goals or mission, ongoing benefits once the program is complete, and the inability of existing programs to meet this identified need.
